When creating items for your wedding, consider having them do double duty to get more out of it. This couple passed out these paper fans to their guests as they entered the church. It was a warm summer day and when it got hot in the church, they had these fans to cool them off. They were also printed with the couples name and information and a great keepsake for the guests. Cute, creative and fun!

Fabulous Ideas - Wedding Edition #006
I love it when a bride does something completely unexpected. The brides sister passed away as a young girl, so they brought out her dresser from her bedroom and filled it with colorful scarfs. As the guests entered the tent, they could select a scarf to keep them warm on a cool fall night and then keep it as a gift from the bride and groom. It had huge sentimental value to the family but also served as a keepsake to the guests. Genius!

Fabulous Ideas - Wedding Edition #005
This bride selected a very colorful and fun palette for her wedding theme. Her main colors were Pink Fuchsia and Orange. It matched the bride's personality perfectly but also made for a very eye catching backdrop. The colorful and funky cake, along with the colored paper laterns were all the drama this daytime, tented wedding needed. Don't be afraid to inject your quirky side and just have a blast with what you love! You can only do this once so you mine as well do it exactly the way you want it. Just go for it!

Tiffany & Jeff | Engagement Shoot
Tiffany and Jeff wanted to do their engagement shoot with some sort of red barn as their backdrop. They knocked on these people's door to ask if it would be OK to shoot at this location and everyone said yes, so that is what we did. I'm a lover of old red barns for photo shoots and this one didn't disappoint. It was quite cold and windy but truly a beautiful day!
Looking forward to shooting their wedding in the fall in Meredith, NH.
Enjoy!

Original Wedding Expo, Burlington, MA Marriott Bridal Expo
What a great time I had at the Burlington Marriott Bridal Expo a few weeks ago, put on by the wonderful folks over at The Original Wedding Expo. It was so exciting to meet so many great new couples getting married! I want to thank you for stopping by my booth and saying hello. If you would like to chat with me further regarding your wedding, please get in touch with me....I'd love to show you what I'm all about and what I can offer to you!
Here's a few shots of our booth!
I opted for a more open concept booth to allow couples to come into my booth, view some of my work and move around comfortably. The Chartreuse-colored curtains really brighten the area and stood out from all the black that was represented in the room.
A lounge area with stools for sitting was set up in the back of the booth where couples could come, sit and take their time, while viewing all the wedding books on display.
An area in the corner provided yet another place to display albums and showcase my work. Setting up multiple stations in the booth allowed couples to not feel like they couldn't see what they came to see, especially when shows can get crowded and busy.
Albums on display and ready to be looked at!

Fabulous Ideas - Wedding Edition #004
Bird cage veils are being seen more and more at weddings and are not consider new, but still worth mentioning. Instead of using a traditional long, tulle veil....consider doing a more vintage, short, bird cage veil. It adds tons of drama and looks good on everyone!
