Venue Spotlight - Crane Estates, Ipswich, MA

Since I have the great fortune to visit and be a part of so many weddings, with so many wonderful couples at so many incredible locations, it's hard to pick one place that stands out!  That was until I photographed Sarah & Matt's wedding at the Crane Estates in Ipswich, MA.  This place was so beautiful, I could of spent the entire day just taking photographs of the grounds and the building.  If you are one of the lucky couples that has your wedding at this gorgeous venue, please call me, bur more importantly, make sure you setup your schedule so you can take advantage of taking photos at all the little spots scattered within the venue and all it has to offer.

Consider scheduling a "first look" so you can take your time, go to all the places on the grounds and get some amazing photography!  This place is a photographers dream and you will have photos you will cherish for years to come!

Here's some shots of specific areas of the grounds that I thought were just incredible!

Thank you to all the folks at the Crane Estates who made our time there so enjoyable!  We hope to be back again soon!

Props

I love how Alexis and Ryan added these giant balloons at their reception.  We also used them when we were photographing the couple and decided to have some fun with them.  Alexis also decided on this gorgeous Amsale Black wedding dress.  Just plain cute!

Vintage Inspired Engagement Session | January, 2013

Rebecca and Shaun wanted something different for their engagement session, so they brought it up a notch with this very vintage style shoot!  Rebecca hired a make-up and hairdresser to transform her look and with the purchase of some cool clothing and accessories, the whole thing just came together so nicely! I especially love how Shaun coordinated his look with the vintage hat and suspenders!  It was one of those warm days where the fog was really thick, which provided such an awesome backdrop for the look she was going for and then, out of no where, a train came by! It was so perfect, I could have photographed them all day.  Some of these photographs were used on their Save the Date card and for an Engagement Signing book.  Thanks to my wonderful couple for making my job so fun and for thinking outside the box and doing something really unique! Here's some photos from the shoot....
