Jeff & Melissa's Engagement Shoot

Jeff & Melissa, thanks for braving the rain to go out and do some cool engagement photos!  I had a great time and I think both of you are really sweet.  I can't wait to shoot your wedding later this year.  I know it will be amazing!  Enjoy.

Vintage Railroad Tracks Fashion Shoot

I was back at it again.....my wonderful client Liz put her gown back on so we could get these very cool, vintage photographs on the railroad tracks.  Ron (one of my photographers) and I played and practiced with some cool stuff and although it ended up raining and cutting our shoot short, we were able to get some great shots. I love this time of the year, prior to wedding season.....it allows me to get out and play and do some cool shoots.  Also, I wanted to photograph some of these vintage hair and neck pieces.  Our friend Patti  makes these custom pieces, so if interested, let me know and I will hook you up.  She takes custom orders so that the colors and design are exactly what you are looking for.  The funky flowers are from our fabulous Apotheca Flower Shoppe.

Here's just a few of my photos from the shoot. I wanted them to have that vintage feel but I also took some with more of a dark and dramatic feel to them, which I will post later.  Liz..thanks for being a sport and modeling for us.....again!

Please provide feedback...I'd love to know what everyone thinks of these.

Enjoy!

SHAKER VILLAGE PHOTO SHOOT - PART II

More from our shoot at Shaker Village a few weeks ago! Enjoy

New Baby Announcement Cards

Although my main love is weddings, a lot of my past clients are now either expecting or are now parents. WOW, how time flys by!

I’ve been getting more and more requests from my clients to document either their pregnancy or baby photos, which I admit, is on the other side of what weddings are but still fun and a great way to see my clients families grow. You can check out some recent photos posted under the Portrait Collection on my website @ www.sagephoto.com

So to honor these little cuties, I had some fun creating some Baby Card/Announcements as a way for something new parents can send out to family and friends to show them their new addition to the family.

You can do either a postcard style or a folded greeting card design. All come with envelopes and as far as pricing, it varies with the amount you need and the style, etc., so please contact me with your needs and we'll work with you on creating a custom quote.

You can opt for one of the following designs or I can work with you on a design and color scheme with a more customized look for what you are looking for. These particular cards are being shown as baby announcements using photographs from the baby shoot I did for my clients, but just imagine the possibilities....they can also be designed for bridal or baby showers or family and engagement announcements. The uses are endless so consider us the next time you are searching for the right look and feel to announce your special moments in your life!

(NOTE: Cards below are custom designed by Sage Studios Photography)

SHAKER VILLAGE PHOTO SHOOT

What a great photo shoot! My dear friend Mike Janis who is an amazing Chef and runs things (and everything weddings) over at the Shaker Village compound invited me to come and take some bridal shots at their amazing facility. This 694 acre facility is filled with history and tons of charm.....So I pulled together a group shoot with 4 models, 1 hair and makeup person, a jewerly consultant and 3 photographers and below are some of the images from that shoot. These particular photos are of Liz, one of my past clients who rocked her modeling debut! I'm still editing the other photographs of the other models and will post just as soon as I'm done. I'd like to give credit to all who participated. Thank you to all for your help in making this possible.

Models: Jenn, Liz, Amy & Katie Lynn - You guys were great!

WOW, what a super crazy week of shoots!  I have lots to post, so check back often to see some new updates that will be coming soon.  These particular photos were done early last week with one of my past brides...Liz.  I had Liz put her gown back on and come to the studio and do some elegant and romantic fashion photos.  We had a great time playing and you'll be seeing more of Liz soon, since she took part in another photoshoot that took place last week. For now, please enjoy the photos I got of Liz alone.
